Tteokbokki Sauce Powder Mild (35g)
1 pack Tteokbokki Sauce Powder Mild
150g Tteokbokki rice cake (soak in warm water for 10 minutes)
50g Fish Cakes(rinsed in hot water and cut into desired pieces)
2 cups water or Korean stock
2 tbsp Onion, thinly sliced.
1 tsp sesame oil
Onion Leeks (for garnish, optional)
Boil the 1 cup water or stock in a pot over medium high heat and dissolve the tteokbokki powder by stirring it with a spatula. Once the seasoned stock is boiling, add the rice cakes, fish cakes and onion. Boil them a further 3 to 5 mins until the rice cakes are fully cooked. Then, to thicken the sauce and to deepen the flavor, simmer it over low heat for a further 2 to 4 mins. Add the sesame oil, sesame seeds, and leeks then quickly stir. Serve warm.
